Registering on one of our trips implies your total acceptance of our general conditions of sale. Your request must be made using the registration form that must be completed and signed before sending it to OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL, along with a deposit of 35% of the total trip price. The receipt of this deposit implies the booking within the available places (you can block a place by telephone for 48 hours while waiting for the booking to be received). You will be sent an invoice within 10 days of booking. The remaining amount must be paid at the latest 45 days before the departure date. Should payment not have been made by the stated date, OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel the booking without compensation. In the case of a booking made during the month prior to departure, you will be asked to pay the total amount of the trip. For any booking made within 15 days of departure, we will request payment by credit card or cash.
You are required to comply with the health policy and regulations at all times during the trip. In no case can OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL replace your individual responsibility to obtain all the necessary documentation prior to departure (passport, visa, vaccination book, etc.); or during the trip itself, including any customs regulations covering the export of objects. All practical information provided after booking is intended for informational purposes only, and cannot compromise our responsibility. Failure to comply with these rules, the impossibility of presenting the documents in order on the day of departure, or any delay (even as a result of a case of force majeure during air, rail or land transport trips of which we are not suppliers), implies your exclusive liability, and the costs will be incurred by you.
OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL is insured for professional civil liability with CATALANA OCCIDENTE. However, OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL cannot replace the individual civil liability that each participant must have. In addition, it is essential to be covered by a multi-risk insurance policy that covers cancellation; relief and repatriation expenses during the trip; medical expenses; luggage theft, etc. On booking, OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL will offer each participant the chance to purchase a multi-risk contract with the INTERMUNDIAL insurance company. A copy of the general conditions of this policy will be sent to each participant who has taken it out (attached with the invoice). This multi-risk insurance can cover cancellation (see conditions in the following point); loss, theft or damage to luggage; assistance; research costs, repatriation and medical expenses abroad; individual civil liability. We strongly recommend you purchase this policy. It has been specially designed to adapt to the conditions of the trips we offer. If you do not purchase this insurance, we will ask you before you leave to discharge us from all responsibility, and for the guarantees of your personal insurance. We also need your full contact information so that we can act in case of emergency. In the event that your personal assistance contract does not include sufficient guarantees to intervene, we are obliged to request our assistance, and you are obliged to assume all costs. In any case, remember to keep a copy of our contract (or, if applicable, the details of your personal insurance) with you throughout the trip, since you are responsible for informing the insurance company of any incident (our local partners will help you in this process).
Mountain activities are subject to weather conditions; these may be cause for modification and even cancellation of the activity if deemed necessary by the guide. The guide reserves the right to change or cancel the activity, dates or place of the activity, depending on the weather, the conditions of the mountain, or the conditions of the participants. Should you cancel for any reason more than 45 days before departure, the deposit paid will be refunded, minus a charge of seventy-five Euros (€75) per person, which cannot be covered by cancellation insurance. Cancellations later than 45 days before your departure will not be refunded. Failure to arrive on the day of departure for any reason does not entitle you to any refund. Any trip interrupted or shortened by the participant for any reason, does not give rise to any refund.
OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL is not responsible for the booking and purchase of airline tickets or any additional charges for travel between your home and the airport of departure. We recommend that you do not buy non-refundable or non-modifiable tickets and make sure that you do not make any important appointments the day before you leave, or the day following your return.
During flights, your baggage is the responsibility of the airline. Any dispute during these transfers must be handled directly between the client and the carrier. For the remainder of the trip, your luggage is your own personal responsibility.
Mountain activities can involve an implicit risk. Hiring the service of a professional guide means this is minimised, but also means that the guide will use their criteria to take the decisions they feel they have to given the circumstances. They are in charge of the group during the development of the activity; but it should be emphasised that zero risk does not exist. The guide is exempt from all responsibility to anyone who fails to follow the guidelines; acts negligently; or is under the effects of any narcotic or medication during the development of the contracted activity. Participants are obliged to inform us if they suffer from any illness that may affect their safety and / or their own life; or the safety and / or the lives of other group members. Such medical conditions include asthma; diabetes; heart problems, etc.; a recent operation; or pregnancy.
Acting as an intermediary between the client and service providers (guides, carriers, hoteliers, charterers, etc.), OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL should not be confused with the latter, who always have their own responsibility. In case of unforeseen events or imperious circumstances that involve the safety of the trip and its participants, OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL reserves the right, before departure, or during the trip, directly or through its guides, to modify schedules or planned routes, in these cases, the client is not entitled to any compensation. All participants must be aware that risks of any kind can arise due to local conditions (distance from medical centres, lack of means of communication, poor conditions of certain infrastructures, etc). The participant assumes this in their name and on behalf of their beneficiaries, with full knowledge of the facts, and undertakes not to blame the organizer OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL. A good physical condition and a predisposition to a positive shared experience are essential assets on the type of trips we offer. OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND TRAVEL reserves the right to expel from the group, at any time, anyone whose behaviour may be considered a danger to the safety of the group; or to the welfare of the participants. In this case, no compensation will be paid.
